Starlux Airlines will pre-open the ‘GALACTIC Lounge’ at Terminal 2 of Taoyuan International Airport on February 1.
The lounge spreads over 220 square meters in a two-floor structure, located near Gate D7 on the third floor of the departure area. It is divided into first class and business class areas. The interior was overseen by the Benoy who previously handled the Starlux Airlines Taipei flagship store, adopting the concept of a ‘space train traveling through time and space’.
The first class area features a soothing space with a burgundy color scheme, equipped with a bar and 17 sofa seats. The business class area highlights open spaces with Morandi colors, incorporating both straight lines and curves, offering 116 seats. Both areas are equipped with luggage cloakrooms, showers, toilets, Wi-Fi, and charging facilities.
In the dining area, breakfast includes Tainan Danzai noodles and mini truffle beef burgers, and after 11 AM, Chiayi chicken rice, beef sukiyaki, and Taiwanese hamburgers (Gua Bao) are available. For first class passengers, breakfast options include Wagyu beef congee set, French toast, and after 11 AM, grilled chicken skewers, and tomato tagliatelle pasta are available. Additionally, a variety of new menus including various alcoholic beverages and cold-pressed juices have been prepared by Axiang, the owner of Tainan Bar Home.
Starlux Airlines uses two terminals for its routes. Terminal 2 is for departures to the United States, Singapore, and Thailand. The lounge is open from 5 AM to 11:30 PM during the pre-opening period.
