Starlux Airlines will increase flights on its Kumamoto–Taichung route for a limited period from October 25.
The route was launched on March 31 and currently operates three to six round trips per week during the summer schedule. From October 25, the start of the winter schedule, through March 28, 2027, service will be increased to one round trip per day.
An Airbus A321neo aircraft will be used. Flight time is 2 hours and 50 minutes from Kumamoto and 2 hours and 10 minutes from Taichung. Tickets will also be available for individual purchase.
In addition to the Taichung route, the airline operates one daily round trip between Kumamoto and Taipei/Taoyuan. During the winter schedule, it will operate a total of two daily round trips to and from Kumamoto.
