Mitsui Fudosan and Fukuoka Jisho have decided to name the commercial facility being developed on the former site of Marinoa City Fukuoka “Mitsui Outlet Park Fukuoka Marinoa.” It is scheduled to open as early as April 2027.
The facility will consist of two buildings and will become Kyushu’s largest outlet mall, with approximately 220 stores. The outdoor “Outlet Building” will house around 170 stores. The indoor “Harbor Building” will include “MARINOA GOURMET TOWN,” a dining area bringing together popular restaurants from Fukuoka, Kyushu, and across Japan, as well as the Lopia supermarket.
At “Harbor Park,” which offers panoramic views of the sea, two giant statues from the Monster Hunter game series will appear in Kyushu for the first time. “Grillpia,” a BBQ venue operated by the Lopia Group, will also open.
Of the approximately 220 stores, 41, mainly restaurants and food retailers, have been announced in advance. These include 13 stores making their first appearance in a commercial facility in Japan and nine new business formats.
Access is approximately 2 kilometers from the Atago Interchange (IC) on the Fukuoka Expressway Circular Route. It is a 10-minute bus ride from Meinohama Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line. Bus services will also operate from Hakata Station and Tenjin Station.
