H.I.S. (HIS) announced that its Board of Directors has resolved changes involving its representative directors and executive officers.
Effective January 27, 2027, Motofumi Yada will step down as Representative Director and Chairman. After stepping down, he will remain a director, overseeing domestic affiliated company management and external relations.
As a result, Shuta Sawada, Representative Director, President, CEO and President Executive Officer, will become the company’s sole representative director. Sawada will also assume responsibility for accounting and finance, in addition to corporate planning, human resources, information systems, AI and DX promotion, M&A, and investments.
HIS explained that it has been working since last year to transition to a new management structure led by the next generation, with the aim of achieving sustainable growth and enhancing corporate value over the medium to long term amid a rapidly changing business environment. The changes are intended to further accelerate the rejuvenation of management and the transition to the next generation. Yada will continue to support the new structure, which is centered on younger executives, in his capacity as a director.
Also effective on the same date, Jun Yamanobe will become Managing Executive Officer, Yuji Iwama will become Senior Executive Officer, and Haruhisa Yano will be appointed Independent Outside Director and Audit & Supervisory Committee Member.

The changes to the directors will be formally finalized following the annual general meeting of shareholders scheduled for January 27, 2027, and a meeting of the Board of Directors to be held after the shareholders’ meeting.
