Asoview Announces Data Breach Affecting 15.82 Million Members
Club Tourism announced on November 7 that it had resumed its website, which had been suspended following unauthorized access, except for certain pages. The “Travel Memories Photo Submission Page” remains unavailable.
Club Tourism detected unauthorized access to some of its servers on October 30 and announced the following day, October 31, that some user information may have been leaked externally. To prevent further damage, the company suspended its website and conducted inspections and security measures in cooperation with its system provider and cybersecurity specialists.
With the website’s reopening, existing members do not need to complete any new procedures. However, the company recommends changing passwords if users have set the same or similar password as those used for other services, or passwords that are easy to guess.
Club Tourism emphasized that it will never send emails or SMS messages directing users to links and requesting them to restore login credentials or change passwords. It is urging users to be cautious of suspicious emails and other communications.
