H.I.S. (HIS) will start selling the ‘Hokuriku Support Discount’ from 3 PM on March 18.
This is applicable for online reservations of accommodation bus tours and guided railway tours in Toyama and Niigata prefectures. Details for Ishikawa and Fukui prefectures will be announced once decided.
The ‘Hokuriku Support Discount’ is a travel support initiative for Fukui, Ishikawa, Toyama, and Niigata prefectures, which were affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake. It applies to stays from March 16 to April 26 (with checkout the next day), offering a subsidy of 50% equivalent of the travel expense. The discount is capped at 20,000 yen for standalone accommodation and accommodation with transportation, 30,000 yen for accommodation with transportation for two or more nights, and 35,000 yen for multi-prefecture touristic travels. The subsidy is available for domestic and inbound tourists, excluding business travels, accommodations, and bookings made before the starting date.
