Tobu Top Tours will start accepting online bookings for the “Hokuriku Support Discount” for Toyama and Ishikawa Prefectures, from March 18th at 3 PM.
The promotion is applicable to overnight stays that include transportation, but not to standalone accommodations or travel packages that include stays of two nights or more. Niigata Prefecture has already sold out, and Fukui Prefecture is not participating.
The “Hokuriku Support Discount” is a travel support initiative targeting Fukui, Ishikawa, Toyama, and Niigata Prefectures, which were affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake. The subsidy applies to accommodations between March 16th and April 26th (with check-out the following day).
The discount rate is equivalent to 50% of the travel expenses. The maximum discount for standalone accommodations and overnight stays with transportation is 20,000 yen, for travel packages including stays of two nights or more it is 30,000 yen, and for multiday, multi-prefecture touring trips it is 35,000 yen. The offer is available for domestic trips and international visitors to Japan, excluding business-related travel and accommodations, as well as bookings made before the start of the promotion.
