Keikyu to Build a Complex Facility on the Former Site of Shinagawa Goose, with Toyota’s Tokyo Headquarters to Relocate There
Keikyu Corporation has decided to commercialize the “(Provisional name) Shinagawa Station West Exit Area A District New Construction Plan”.
A large-scale mixed-use facility will be constructed on the former site of Shinagawa Goose in front of Shinagawa Station. A contract to construct and operate jointly, including a partial land ownership transfer, has been concluded with Toyota Motor Corporation as a co-venturer. Toyota Motor Corporation will acquire a part of the office space within the building to establish its new Tokyo headquarters.
The site area is about 23,600 square meters, and the total floor area is about 313,100 square meters. The building will have 4 basement levels and 29 floors above ground. It will feature a hotel, offices, conference facilities, a multi-purpose hall, and a bus drop-off area. Construction is scheduled to start in the fiscal year 2025 and the facility is expected to open in the fiscal year 2029.
