Odakyu Electric Railway Launches Subscription for Romancecar Express Trains, Saving Up to 32,800 Yen
Odakyu Electric Railway will start selling the “EMot Romancecar Passport” subscription for its Romancecar express trains from April 1. A trial sale was conducted from November 2022 to March 2023.
The subscription, available through the MaaS app “EMot”, allows for the use of up to two trains per day, one seat per train, on the Odakyu Line departing from each station between 9:00 AM and 5:59 PM on weekdays. The subscription is valid for 30 days from the start date, and it is necessary to issue electronic express tickets through the app.
There are four price settings, with rates such as 4,500 yen for Shinjuku to Machida Station and 9,000 yen for all sections, offering savings of up to 32,800 yen.
