JR Hokkaido and JR East are introducing a “Limited Express Discount Special 21” campaign, offering 50% off on all limited express trains from May 9th to 23rd.
The offer applies to all standard car reserved seats on “Hayabusa” and “Hayate” trains, cutting both fare and fees by 50%. An example of the set price for a ticket and reserved seat on a limited express train includes: Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto to Shin-Aomori at 3,750 Yen (normally 7,520 Yen), Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto to Sendai at 8,870 Yen (normally 17,750 Yen), Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto to Omiya at 11,130 Yen (normally 22,270 Yen), Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto to Ueno at 11,510 Yen (normally 23,020 Yen), and Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto to Tokyo at 11,610 Yen (normally 23,230 Yen).
Tickets can be purchased from one month before the date of travel at 10 AM up to 21 days before at 11:50 PM. A “Ekinet pre-registration” is available from 2 PM, seven days before the start date of ticket sales.
