Nishigaki is set to open the mixed-use Grande Private Dog Resort Hitachi in Omitama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, on May 1st.
The resort will feature 11 units in total, comprising of large villas, cottages, and glamping domes, each equipped with a natural turf large dog run, a swimming pool where dogs can play, and a black water hot spring in all rooms. Villas exclusively will also have a private sauna. Shared spaces will include a pet goods shop, a self-serve cafe, and a roofed all-weather large dog run.
Meals will be served in-room style, offering two options: seasonal local fish and produce or BBQ with aged meat and seasonal vegetables. Meals for pets will also be available.
The resort is about a 15-minute drive from the Joban Expressway Ishioka Omitama Smart Interchange (IC) or the JR Ishioka Station.
