Ko-ei has launched “AKAGI GLAMPING VILLAGE” on March 23.
The venue comprises seven guest rooms, which are all-weather dome tents with air conditioning, a private dining space, and an open-air bath. The rooms are equipped with observation decks on the second floor and ‘dog cocoons’ that allow for staying with pets. Dinner features barbeque, including Gunma Prefecture’s branded pork ‘Joshu Mugibuta,’ local fresh vegetables, and fruits, and guests also have the option to bring their own ingredients.
The starting price for one guest in a room shared by two people is 16,800 yen.
Access is about 20 minutes by car from the Komagata Interchange (IC) on the North Kanto Expressway, about 20 minutes by car from the Hoshie Smart IC, and about 20 minutes by car from the Komayose Smart IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway.
