Sankei Building and AB Accommo have opened “GRIDS PREMIUM HOTEL Kumamoto” on April 1.
They purchased a property that had been idle since its completion and renovated it. The building has 10 floors above ground. There are a total of 197 rooms, including 116 double rooms, 56 twin rooms, and 25 triple rooms.
The breakfast buffet restaurant on the second floor, “Caldera Kitchen,” offers local cuisine using vegetables from Yamato Town, “Kumamoto’s traditional and special local vegetables” and “Higo vegetables.” The menu features horse meat, rice, dessert fruits, and drinks such as tea and milk, all sourced from Kumamoto. Power outlets are installed at various locations within the seating area, and it also serves as a lounge outside breakfast hours.
Access is a 3-minute walk from Karashimacho tram stop on the Kumamoto City Tram A Line, and a 5-minute walk from the Kumamoto Sakuramachi Bus Terminal.
