The Grand Mercure Yatsugatake Resort & Spa opened the all-weather activity facility “Mori no 8” on April 1st.
The facility spans approximately 1,400 square meters and features three areas with activities catered to children of various ages. Besides a playground equipment resembling the towering Yatsugatake, visitors can experience bouldering inspired by the sacred rock climbing spot of Mizugaki Mountain, and try out a “hand-pedaled trolley”. The hotel introduces a drift trike activity, a first in Japan that can be enjoyed by visitors of all ages.
The operational hours are from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This facility is available for free to guests staying at the hotel. Children under six years old require the accompaniment of a caregiver, and the targeted age for activities varies.
