Thai AirAsia will launch a new route between Bangkok/Don Mueang and Beijing/Daxing on July 1.
There will be one round trip per day, using Airbus A320 aircraft.
The Thai government has implemented visa exemption measures for Chinese tourists and maintained high occupancy rates, with seat occupancy from January to February 2024 reaching 93%. According to data from the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thai AirAsia transported over 600,000 Chinese tourists in 2023, accounting for 18% of the total.
