Philippines AirAsia has suspended its Tokyo/Narita to Cebu route as of March 30.
The route was initially launched with three round trips per week on July 2, 2023, and was increased to a daily round trip from August 4. The service utilized the Airbus A320 aircraft.
Other airlines operating on this route include Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific. United Airlines was also scheduled to launch a daily round trip from July 31, but has postponed its start until October 27.
With this suspension, Philippines AirAsia’s Tokyo/Narita routes are now limited to 11 round trips per week to Manila only.
