Delta Air Lines Raises Starting Wages to $19 per Hour, Implements a 5% Pay Raise for Employees Worldwide
Delta Air Lines is implementing raises in starting wages and pay increases.
In addition to raising the starting wage to $19 per hour, a 5% pay raise will be applied to all employees worldwide. This is part of a $500 million investment in its employees.
Over the past 15 years, the company has implemented pay raises on 12 occasions, which has resulted in an average basic wage increase of 85%.
As part of its profit-sharing program, it has already distributed $1.4 billion to its employees, which represents 10.4% of their annual wages.
