AirAsia is set to launch routes from Kuala Lumpur to Kozhikode (Calicut) and Guwahati starting August 1.
The Kuala Lumpur to Kozhikode service will operate three round trips a week, with departures from Kuala Lumpur on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and from Kozhikode on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Kozhikode, a city in Kerala state, is popular for its spice markets, Malabar cuisine, ancient buildings, and stunning sunsets.
The Kuala Lumpur to Guwahati route will also operate three round trips a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Guwahati, a city in Assam state, attracts visitors with its views of the Brahmaputra River and religious sites like the Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple, and Hajo Temple.
This expansion brings AirAsia’s network to 15 cities across India.
