Hong Kong Express Airways Changes Cabin Baggage Policy to a Combined Weight of 7kg
Hong Kong Express Airways has changed its cabin baggage policy for bookings made from May 8.
Previously, the Light and Max fares allowed for one piece of cabin baggage (up to 56×36×23 cm) plus one personal item (up to 40×25×20 cm), totaling up to 7kg. From bookings made on the mentioned date, the total combined weight of these items is limited to 7kg.
Items purchased in the airport’s restricted area are also considered part of the cabin baggage and will incur a charge of 800 Hong Kong dollars or 15,400 yen at the boarding gate if the limit is exceeded.
