Oedo Onsen Monogatari Hotels & Resorts has opened ‘Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Yamashitaya’ on April 22.
Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium is a high-brand offering a premium lounge and an upscale buffet. It opened in Murakami City, Niigata, and Gero City, Gifu in June 2023, and in Toyooka City, Hyogo in August, marking the first entry into the Hokuriku region.
The rebranded former Oedo Onsen Monogatari Yamashitaya offers a variety of rooms including Japanese-style rooms, single rooms, and newly established Japanese-modern “force” rooms, totaling 108 rooms. The premium lounge offers alcohol drinks like draft beer and highball, soft drinks including coffee and cold Kaga stick tea, and ice candies without any additional charge.
The top-floor large communal bath ‘Kaga Sky Bath’ has been fully renovated. It features an infinity open-air bath overlooking the townscape of Kaga, and a newly established steam sauna in the indoor bath. The bath is available exclusively for guests, with both an indoor bath and sauna.
