Emirates will resume flights on the Dubai-Lagos route starting October 1.
There will be one round trip per day, utilizing Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The flight duration is 8 hours and 35 minutes from Dubai, and 8 hours and 40 minutes from Lagos.
This route is popular with Nigerians, offering connections to over 140 cities via Dubai. Adnan Kazim, Vice President, expressed gratitude towards the Nigerian government for their support in resuming the service.
In Nigeria, 2022 saw disruptions in domestic flight operations due to a jet fuel shortage. Additionally, the Central Bank of Nigeria froze remittances of Emirates’ domestic funds [link].
