Sukesan Udon Opens a Pop-up Restaurant in Tokyo for a Limited Time: July 13 to 15
Aoyagi Souhonke will be selling freshly made “Frog Manju” at JR Nagoya Takashimaya starting May 16th, for a limited time only.
This initiative is operated by eight new graduates, the company’s first in about 40 years, who bake the manju on-site and then hand-stamp each with eyes and a mouth before displaying them in the showcase. The freshly baked treats offer a crispy thin skin and juicy filling that are unique.
The price for a set of three is 648 yen (tax included), with a shelf life of only one day. The sale will run until July 2nd, at a special event space in the basement first floor Japanese sweet section.
