Hong Kong Express Airways inaugurated its Hong Kong-Sanya route on May 10th.
The service operates four round trips weekly on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, utilizing the Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight duration is 1 hour and 45 minutes from Hong Kong and 1 hour and 50 minutes from Sanya.
Commemorative gifts were presented to passengers on the inaugural flight.
Sanya, located at the southern tip of Hainan Island in Hainan Province, China, is a resort area popular among Hong Kong travelers. It is renowned for its beautiful beaches, pleasant climate, and seafood. This year, with the addition of the Beijing/Daxing line, Hong Kong Express Airways has opened two routes to mainland China, focusing on increasing flights to tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
