Hawaiian Airlines has adjusted its flight schedule for the Fukuoka to Honolulu route, canceling the planned increase to four weekly round trips starting August 1.
Currently, flights from Fukuoka operate on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, while flights from Honolulu operate on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, maintaining three weekly round trips. Flights on August 8th and 15th from Fukuoka, and on August 7th and 14th from Honolulu, will operate. The aircraft used will be the Airbus A330-200, equipped with 18 Business Class seats, 68 Extra Comfort seats, and 192 Main Cabin seats, totaling 278 seats.
The route, which was suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic, resumed operations on April 28, 2023. The increase in flights would have made popular seven-day five-night trips possible again after the end of COVID-19, with connections available from Fukuoka to 12 U.S. mainland cities and from Honolulu to 11 U.S. mainland cities.
