Japan Airlines (JAL) has launched the “JAL Mahalo Fare” on June 5, which coincides with World Environment Day, to support organizations working on environmental and cultural preservation in Hawaii.
This fare applies to Hawaii routes, with options for changes and refunds. A portion of the fare purchased will be donated through Mālama 1 to non-profit organizations (NPOs) working on beach cleaning, taro field restoration, and the protection of Hawaii’s native species. This initiative marks the first of its kind by a Japanese airline, enabling customers to support the environment and culture through their fare.
To commemorate the introduction of this fare, JAL is also offering a campaign that awards up to 500 miles to JAL Mileage Bank members who purchase and board using this fare.
