Strings Hotel Nagoya will offer ‘#FavoriteSumoWrestler Decoration Rooms’ from July 13 to 28.
To coincide with the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament held from July 14 to 28, two types of rooms are made available: the ‘#Ura Fan Decoration Room’ and the ‘#Atamifuji Fan Decoration Room’. Both are deluxe twin rooms equipped with mawashi (sumo belt) colored pillows and cushions, featuring the theme colors of wrestlers Ura and Atamifuji, and a full-wall movable noren (traditional Japanese fabric divider). Guests can also experience a mini sake barrel opening ceremony. Amenities include gifts from the Grand Sumo sponsors (Nagatani-en, Ozeki, and Ito-en). During the tournament, a special chanko (sumo stew) will be added to the breakfast buffet.
Prices start from 21,423 yen per person, including service charge and tax.
