The International Garden Hotel Narita is hosting a ‘Summer Casual Italian & Melon and Peach Sweets Fair’ from July 1 to August 31.
The fair features ‘Summer Italian’ dishes using seasonal ingredients like tomatoes and basil, spicing up classic Italian cuisine with a refreshing twist. Example menu items include smoked salmon and avocado mousse, roast beef, fritto misto of white fish and vegetables, minestrone soup, pizza, among others, complemented by 15 types of desserts like red flesh melon shortcake and peach & Earl Grey tart. During lunch, the live kitchen offers “Oeuf à la neige”, and for dinner, a cold pasta with shrimp and mozzarella. A 30-item drink bar is also available.
Additionally, the restaurant’s terrace area features a bamboo shoot where chefs serve bite-sized capellini in an Italian-style “flowing somen”, topped with sauces such as fresh tomato and eggplant oregano sauce, chilled corn potage, and Genovese sauce.
The fair takes place on the first floor at ‘Restaurant AVANTI’. Lunch is served from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and dinner from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Prices are 3,800 JPY for adults and 1,900 JPY for children in elementary school, with preschoolers (over 4 years) at 900 JPY for lunch; and 4,200 JPY for adults, 2,100 JPY for elementary school children, and 1,000 JPY for preschoolers for dinner, service charges and taxes included.
