Chiba Transportation is launching a retro-designed high-speed bus as the first installment of its 115th-anniversary project.
The fleet will include two buses: one with a design modeled after the “C.K.K” which was in service around 1965, a former chartered sightseeing type, and another that began operating in 1997 with a dolphin design, specifically for the “Choshi to Tokyo Line & Sawara Route,” which was used at the old Choshi branch at that time.
Both buses are of the Hino 2PG-RU1ASDA model and will primarily operate on the Choshi to Tokyo Line starting from October 12 and October 18, respectively.
