Hokkaido Airport is set to open a dedicated business jet facility at New Chitose Airport on December 8th.
The facility will span approximately 550 square meters and will be fully equipped with a security checkpoint exclusive for business jet users, Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine (CIQ) stations, as well as a lounge area.
Amidst growing global demand for travel by business jets, this facility aims to enhance the receiving capabilities of Hokkaido and contribute to encouraging tourism by serving as an entry point for high-value tourism experiences in the region.
The operation will be a joint venture with Universal Aviation, a company specializing in providing fully customized air travel services for VIPs and high-value tourists worldwide.
