Suntory has renewed and reopened the Hakushu Distillery on October 2nd.
The primary objectives for the renovation were to further improve quality and enhance the appeal of the distillery. The visitor center now includes an area for guided tours and a reception desk for tour bookings. Additionally, a new diorama has been set up, creating a space where visitors can visually grasp the layout of the entire facility. A shop offering original merchandise has also been added to the premises.
The Hakushu Distillery tours have been revamped as “Craftsmanship Tour” and “Premium Craftsmanship Tour.” During the tours, tastings of “Suntory Single Malt Whiskey Hakushu” and “Malt Whiskey Raw Spirit” are offered. The Premium Tour includes special tastings inside the production area and the storage warehouse.
