EVA Air, in collaboration with G2 Studios and Niantic, has been offering the augmented reality (AR) content ‘EVA AIR AR Sky Journey’ since November 1st.
The content allows passengers to experience the interior of EVA Air’s newly introduced Boeing 787-10 aircraft through AR, with the ability to freely move around the virtual cabin using a smartphone. From the windows of the AR cabin, passengers can get a panoramic view of major tourist destinations in service areas and even purchase flight tickets with just a tap.
The AR experience comes with various interactive features, including collecting six ‘EVA Bear’ flight attendant bears. Once collected, an ‘EVA Bear’ can appear on the subject’s shoulder, or visitors can use photo frames to take pictures.
