JR Companies Operate ‘Osaka-Kansai Expo Wrapped Shinkansen’
The four JR Group companies will operate the ‘Osaka-Kansai Expo Wrapped Shinkansen’.
JR East, JR Central, JR West, and JR Kyushu will wrap one set of the N700 and N700S series on the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen, the N700 series on the Sanyo-Kyushu Shinkansen, and the W7 series on the Hokuriku Shinkansen with the logo of the Osaka-Kansai Expo and the design featuring the official mascot, Myaku-Myaku.
The operation period is from around April 13, 2024, until the end of the Expo. The wrapped trains will continue to run until the wrap is removed after the Expo concludes.
