APA Group has acquired a plot of land for hotel development along Chuo-dori, near Akihabara Station in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.
In the Akihabara area, the group operates four hotels with a total of 603 rooms. Because Chuo-dori is not only a hub for subculture but has also seen an increase in office development in recent years, the company anticipates demand for accommodation for domestic leisure, international tourists, events, as well as business purposes. They aim to open “APA Hotel ” in the summer of 2024. The building will have 14 floors above ground and 205 guest rooms.
Access is approximately a 6-minute walk from Akihabara Station on JR lines and the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, and about a 2-minute walk from Suehirocho Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line.
