The Hong Kong Immigration Department has removed JAL Global Club (JGC) members of Japan Airlines (JAL) from the list of eligible applicants for the ‘Frequent Visitor e-Channel’ program.
The ‘e-Channel’ program allows for the use of automated gates at Hong Kong International Airport and other immigration checkpoints. To apply for the program, certain conditions must be met, including being a senior member of designated airlines. Eligible JAL members are now limited to those holding JMB Diamond, JGC Premier, JMB Sapphire, and JMB Crystal FLY ON statuses, excluding JGC members who previously had access.
Super Flyers (SFC) members of All Nippon Airways (ANA) can still apply for the service at this time.
