Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide has announced the rebranding and reopening of ‘The Prince Kitano New York’ on December 1.
This rebranding is of the Japanese-owned Kitano Hotel New York in the United States. The building is 18 stories above ground with 2 basement levels, and features a total of 150 guest rooms. The hotel includes a restaurant, rooftop bar, and meeting rooms.
With this rebranding, about 100 rooms have been refurnished with modern furniture, and all rooms now include bathtubs and toilets with warm water bidets. A new dining cafe has been added on the first floor, and the Japanese restaurant has been renovated as well.
The hotel, which originally opened on Park Avenue in 1973, is within walking distance of Grand Central Station, Times Square, and the Empire State Building.
