Singapore Airlines has announced that Mr. Sia Nam Kung will take office as President of its Japan branch starting from January 8, 2024.
He will succeed Mr. Kenny Teo Keng Hon, who has been President of the Japan branch since October 2021. Mr. Teo will return to the headquarters and take up the position of Vice President of Commercial Planning starting January 1, 2024.
Mr. Sia previously served as Senior Vice President (Ground Services & Projects) on secondment to Vistara (New Delhi, India), and has held key positions as President of the China branch, President of the Hong Kong branch, and President of the Gulf Region covering Dubai for Singapore Airlines. In 2006, he worked at Narita International Airport as Airport Branch Manager, and most recently served as President of the Philippines branch.
