JAL Temporarily Changes Schedule for Tokyo/Narita to Boston Route Due to Strike at U.S. Catering Company
Thai Airways has inaugurated its Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi to Istanbul route on December 1st.
The service will operate one round trip per day using the Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Turkey, with a population of 85.3 million and an economy worth 906 billion U.S. dollars, is seen to have great potential for tourism, and there is a desire to attract more tourists.
Thai Airways has also signed a memorandum of understanding with Turkish Airlines to begin a joint venture. This will enhance connections from Bangkok to Thailand, Asia-Pacific, Australia, and from Istanbul to Europe and Africa.
