JR East is offering a lottery where the first 10,000 users of ‘Touch and Go Shinkansen’ service will be gifted 2,000 JRE POINTs.
This promotion is also open to those who have not used the service since December 2021. Registration of a Suica to the JRE POINT account and entry into the lottery are required. The eligible period runs from December 16, 2021, to February 12, 2024. Winners will receive their points in March 2024.
‘Touch and Go Shinkansen’ is a service that allows passengers to board Shinkansen unreserved seats using the balance charged on transport IC cards such as Suica without the need for a reservation. A one-time initial registration is required to start using the service.
