Digital Arrival Card Becomes Mandatory for Entry into Malaysia
The Malaysian government has made it mandatory to fill out the Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) from December 1st when entering the country.
The requirement applies to all foreign travelers except those transiting to Singapore without undergoing immigration clearance in Malaysia, Malaysian permanent residents, and holders of the MACS pass. It is possible to register online three days before departure, and it is necessary to fill in information such as passport details, date of arrival, date of departure, and purpose of stay.
Until December 7th, it will be possible to depart without registration, but from December 8th onwards, registration will be required before departure.
