Delta Airlines will launch a new Seattle to Taipei/Taoyuan route on June 6, 2024.
The service will operate one round trip daily, marking the airline’s first entry into Taiwan since the cessation of their Tokyo/Narita to Taipei/Taoyuan service in 2017. This will be the company’s first direct flight between the United States and Taiwan.
The flights will be operated using an Airbus A330-900, equipped with 29 ‘Delta One Suites’ in business class, 28 ‘Delta Premium Select’ seats in premium economy class, 56 ‘Delta Comfort Plus’ seats with extra legroom in economy class, and 168 seats in the ‘Main Cabin’ economy class, totaling 281 seats. The flight duration is set at 13 hours and 5 minutes from Seattle and 11 hours and 40 minutes from Taipei/Taoyuan.
With this new route, Delta’s Asian network will expand to include four destinations: Tokyo/Haneda, Seoul/Incheon, Shanghai/Pudong, and Taipei/Taoyuan.
