Kintetsu to Launch ICOCA Point Rewards Service in February 2024, Offering 10% of Total Usage
Kinki Nippon Railway will start its “Kintetsu ICOCA Point Rewards Service” in February 2024.
The service will grant points worth 10% of the total amount spent in a month to passengers who register their ICOCA card at automatic ticket vending machines for season passes and ride on Kintetsu lines more than 11 times in a month. Points can be charged at these machines, where one point equals one yen.
The service is available on all Kintetsu lines except for the Ikoma Cable and Katsuragi Mountain Ropeway, and it is exclusive to the ICOCA transportation card. Points will be awarded on the 15th of the following month. Regular count tickets, off-peak count tickets, and weekend/holiday discount tickets will be no longer be sold after February 29, 2024.
