Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs to Take Administrative Action Against Four Travel Agencies
The Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs announced that it will conduct a hearing before imposing administrative actions against Amega Japan, Crane International, K-Auto Travel, and Japan Recreation Center on December 14, pursuant to Article 65, Paragraph 1 of the Travel Agency Act.
K-Auto Travel is facing violations for providing transportation services to passengers outside of its business area, while the other three companies are in violation for arranging bus services at fares lower than the minimum required by the Travel Agency Act.
A business suspension order for nine days, based on Article 19, Paragraph 1 or Article 37, Paragraph 1 of the Travel Agency Act, is planned.
The hearing will take place on December 21 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building No.1, 19th floor, Conference Room 19A.
