NearMe is expanding the service area for its on-demand ‘Smart Shuttle’ that operates to and from Naha Airport.
The area covered now includes the northern part of Okinawa Main Island, the Yanbaru region. The basic fare per person is 11,800 yen for Nago City, 14,800 yen for Ogimi Village and Higashi Village, and 17,800 yen for Kunigami Village. Early booking discounts are also available.
With this expansion, the service area now includes Naha City, Urasoe City, Ginowan City, Chatan Town, Kitanakagusuku Village, Nago City, Ogimi Village, Higashi Village, and Kunigami Village.
NearMe’s on-demand shuttle service offers ride-sharing in vehicles that can accommodate up to nine passengers. Private bookings of the vehicle are also possible. The service provides door-to-door transportation between the airport and the destination.
