Transavia Airlines Takes Delivery of Its First Airbus A321neo
Transavia Airlines has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321neo.
The aircraft is leased from Air Lease Corporation and is the first of the initial seven units. During the ferry flight from Hamburg to Amsterdam, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) was used. Transavia Netherlands will start commercial operations with this aircraft from January 5, 2024.
The economy class cabin is fitted with 232 seats and uses the new Airspace XL bin specification, which allows for 40% more storage space than the previous design and seats feature USB-C power outlets.
Transavia Airlines is a low-cost carrier under the Air France KLM Group. Air France KLM had placed an order for 100 Airbus A320neo family aircraft in 2021 for the renewal and expansion of Transavia Airlines’ and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ fleets.
