Qatar Airways is set to expand its network during the summer of 2024.
The airline will commence daily return flights to Venice, Italy, starting on June 12, and to Hamburg, Germany, commencing on July 1. The Venice flight is anticipated to cater to demand from Japan, China, and Australia, while the Hamburg route is expected to be in demand by travelers from South Africa, Thailand, and the Philippines. Both routes will be operated with Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
Badr Mohammed Al Meer, the Chief Operating Officer (CEO) of Qatar Airways Group, expressed, “As this year comes to a close, I am delighted that we can offer our customers exciting new travel opportunities as we move into 2024. With the resumption of flights to Venice and the start of services to Hamburg, Qatar Airways and our hub, Hamad International Airport, continue to imprint their names on the world map as key gateways for international travel and transfers. We look forward to our passengers discovering new experiences and resuming flights to their favorite destinations.”
Furthermore, Qatar Airways is planning to increase flights to major leisure destinations such as Amsterdam, Bangkok, Barcelona, Belgrade, and Miami.
