Etihad Airways will introduce the Airbus A350-1000 aircraft on its Tokyo/Narita to Abu Dhabi route starting January 15, 2024.
The A350-1000 will replace the currently used Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The service will be operated once daily in each direction.
Etihad Airways commenced operations with this aircraft model on March 31, 2022. Inspired by Abu Dhabi, the cabin interior features the ‘Business Studio’ business class with 44 seats equipped with sliding doors, and the economy class with 327 seats, totaling 371 seats. The lighting has been designed based on the shadows cast by Abu Dhabi’s palm trees, simulating natural ambient light, which aims to create the optimal sleep environment and reduce the effects of jet lag. The in-flight entertainment system ‘E-BOX’ includes a dark mode and enables Bluetooth connectivity.
