Emirates Airlines Revamps Lounge in Dusseldorf
Emirates Airlines has reopened its newly renovated ‘Emirates Lounge’ at Dusseldorf Airport.
Spanning 700 square meters, the lounge can accommodate 115 guests. It features cream-colored leather seats, refreshed furniture, carpets, lighting, and kitchen facilities. This lounge, which is the 20th Emirates Lounge worldwide, originally opened in May 2009. The renovation took seven weeks to complete.
The lounge opens three hours before the departure time of flights EK56/58 and offers meals prepared by DO&CO. A complimentary bar service and shower rooms are also available for use. The lounge serves First and Business Class passengers, as well as Emirates Skywards Platinum and Gold members flying in Economy Class.
Emirates Airlines started operations to Dusseldorf in 2001 and currently operates two round trips per day using the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. In the past five months, Emirates has also refreshed its lounges at Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Munich airports in Germany.
