Tsugaru Strait Ferry Partially Suspends Service on Muroran-Aomori Route for Maintenance
The Tsugaru Strait Ferry will partially suspend its services on the Muroran-Aomori route.
The service interruption is due to maintenance work on the “Blue Mermaid”, as well as the statutory inspections of “Blue Happiness” and “Blue Luminous” on the Hakodate-Aomori route, which requires alternate ships to operate. The “Blue Mermaid” will undergo partial transformations of its cabins into private rooms.
The suspension period is scheduled from January 13 to April 16, 2024. While services will operate from March 27 to April 2, ferries leaving Muroran on Sundays and Aomori on Mondays are to be suspended.
