According to JR West, at around 4:10 PM, due to the impact of an earthquake with its epicenter in Ishikawa Prefecture, train services have been suspended in various lines within the Hokuriku area.
As of 4:29 PM, in the Hokuriku area, services are suspended on the Hokuriku Main Line (between Omi-Shiotsu and Kanazawa stations), Takayama Main Line (between Inotani and Toyama stations), Jōhana Line (between Takaoka and Jōhana stations), Nanao Line (between Kanazawa and Wakura Onsen stations), Etsumi-North Line (Ōmi Line) (between Fukui and Kuzuryūko stations), Obama Line (between Tsuruga and Higashi-Maizuru stations), and Himi Line (between Takaoka and Himi stations).
