According to JR West, as a result of an earthquake with its epicenter in Ishikawa Prefecture that occurred around 4:10 PM, train operations have been suspended on some lines in the Kinki area.
As of 5:02 PM, in the Keihanshin area (Kyoto-Osaka-Kobe), operations have been suspended on the Hokuriku Line (between Omi-Shiotsu and Tsuruga stations), the Biwako Line (between Maibara and Yasu stations), and the San’in Main Line (between Toyooka and Higashi-Hama stations).
Delays are occurring on the Hokuriku Line (between Omi-Shiotsu and Nagahama stations), the Biwako Line (between Nagahama and Maibara stations, and Yasu and Kyoto stations), and the Kusatsu Line (between Kusatsu and Tsuge stations).
